Śnieżka Group recognized in the ESG Ranking and FOB’s good practices

Śnieżka Group achieved 5th place in the Industrial and Chemical Production category and 24th place in the general classification of the ESG. Responsible Management 2025 Ranking, scoring 72 points—10 more than last year. Additionally, the latest report by the Responsible Business Forum (FOB) recognized four of Śnieżka Group’s good practices related to employee health, skills development, and social initiatives.

Śnieżka Group has once again been acknowledged for its commitment to sustainable development, climbing higher in this year’s edition of the ESG. Responsible Management 2025 Ranking. In the industry-specific ranking, Śnieżka was the only representative of the Polish chemical industry to make it into the top five in the Industrial and Chemical Production category. The company also ranked 24th overall with a score of 72 points, reinforcing its position among the leaders of sustainable development. In comparison, in 2024, Śnieżka ranked 7th in its industry category and 28th overall, with 62 points. 

The ESG Ranking, prepared by Kozminski University in cooperation with Deloitte and the Responsible Business Forum, has been published for 19 years and is one of the most prestigious rankings in Poland assessing corporate responsibility. This year’s edition analyzed responses to a comprehensive survey aligned with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), verified by a Scientific Council composed of experts from Climate Leadership UNEP/GRID, Kozminski University, and the Responsible Business Forum. The ranking is based on the three ESG pillars: Environmental (E), Social (S), and Governance (G), and also includes materiality analysis for the business model in question.  

Śnieżka Group was also recognized in the 24th edition of the Responsible Business Forum report as the author of four good practices. The report Responsible Business in Poland. Good Practices 2025 is a unique publication nationwide, serving for years as a key point of reference for businesses, social organizations, and media. It offers a comprehensive overview of real actions taken by companies in the area of sustainable development, demonstrating how declarations are translated into tangible initiatives. 

Śnieżka Group’s recognized activities span the areas of labor, health, and social engagement, all united by the goal of making a real and lasting impact—both within the organization and in its broader environment. These initiatives align with the company’s sustainability strategy, aimed at enhancing employee well-being, supporting local communities—including developing future skills—and improving hospital treatment conditions. 

One example of an internal initiative that was recognized is a health prevention program targeted primarily at employees aged 50+, who were offered free cancer marker tests, CRP, and blood morphology tests. At the same time, under the campaign Śnieżka Paints the World Pink, female employees and female partners of employees were offered free breast ultrasound and mammography screenings, which 175 women benefited from. An additional batch of vouchers was distributed to women living in the Podkarpackie province, expanding the program’s reach beyond the company. 

Also acknowledged was the nationwide program World in Colours, run by the Śnieżka Foundation. This initiative focuses on renovating hospital wards—primarily pediatric and psychiatric units—to improve patient treatment conditions and staff comfort. To date, 37 wards in Poland have been refurbished and painted through this effort. In 2024, nearly 1,000 m² of the Daytime Psychiatric Rehabilitation Ward for Children in Gdańsk was renovated, including the creation of a Sensory Room—a space supporting children with emotional regulation difficulties and those on the autism spectrum. 

In the area of skills development, the Śnieżka Academy program was recognized—a company training initiative that leveraged employees’ training potential to share knowledge within the organization. In its first edition, 380 employees participated in 48 training sessions. The second, expanded edition involved 12 trainers, and workshop topics were broadened to include well-being, business tools, and health. The program addresses specific organizational needs while also enhancing employee engagement and competencies. 

Concurrently, in response to the need for equal educational opportunities for children and youth from smaller towns, the company has been developing the program Przeogarniacze. Entrepreneurship Differently. Highlighted in the FOB report, this initiative targets fourth-grade primary school students and aims to strengthen future competencies through workshops on entrepreneurship, ecology, cybersecurity, and critical thinking. Implemented by the Śnieżka Foundation using proprietary educational materials and an experienced trainer, the program involved over 800 students from 37 schools in 2024. 

All these efforts are part of Śnieżka’s Sustainable Development Strategy, which focuses on people—their health, growth, and well-being—both in the workplace and within the broader social context.
