Śnieżka again has been found among the largest paint manufacturers in Europe.
The Śnieżka Group has been recognised by the European Coatings Journal as the 25th largest and best selling manufacturer of paints and coatings based in Europe. In 2023, the revenues of the only Polish representative in the ranking reached EUR 178 million, which represents an increase by 12.7% y/y. This result has placed the Group second as far as the sales value growth is concerned.
Every year, the editors of the trade magazine European Coatings Journal publish the Europe’s Top 25 ranking, which identifies the 25 largest and best-selling paint and coatings manufacturers based in Europe. The results are based on revenues, including M&A transactions.
In this year’s edition, which summarises the performance for 2023, the total turnover of all companies included in the ranking amounted to approximately EUR 28.1 billion, which represents an increase by 4.8% y/y. The Śnieżka Group, the only company representing Poland and the region of Central and Eastern Europe, came 25. Its consolidated result from sales of products included by the authors of the ranking last year amounted to EUR 178 million, compared to EUR 158 million a year earlier. Considering the sales growth dynamics of 12.7%, this is the second highest result in the entire ranking.
This is the seventh time that Śnieżka has achieved revenues that have provided it with a place among the largest European manufacturers in the industry. We are glad that our strategic approach to business and focus on building strong brands that consumers trust translate into results that place our Group among the leading European manufacturers of paints and coatings.
For the first time, Śnieżka was found on the list of “Europe’s Top 25” in 2018 and since then it has maintained its position among the 25 largest European manufacturers of paints and varnishes. The ranking is prepared by the European Coatings Journal – a leading European monthly devoted to the paint coatings industry. It is released by the German publishing house Vincentz Network.
