Development of products with a low environmental impact
50% of the sales value comes from the eco-labelled products
80% of sales value comes from the water-based and water-containing products
We assess an impact on the environment as well as the users' health and safety as early as at a stage of product design and its formulation. We carefully select raw materials based on specification, impact on the environment, expected parameters and availability. As part of the purchasing process, we analyse our suppliers in terms of meeting ESG criteria. At a production stage, we focus on a great emphasis on efficiency and the optimization of media consumption (water, energy).

We have analysed our portfolio and new products being developed and ranked them according to their impact on the environment. Our goal is to increase the share of the products sales value with the lowest environmental impact to 50% by 2030. It is important to us that these properties are certified to ensure an informed choice of our products, while providing real value to customers.
Product liability in its life cycle is inscribed in our business model – starting from an idea, through research and development analyses, selection of suppliers and the purchasing process, quality control, production, sales and communication, and finally – use. We assess the impact on the environment, as well as the users’ health and safety, already at a product design stage
determining a recipe composition.
In the process of creating a new product, the first step is to design guidelines. These depend on the identified customer needs and the available, implementable solutions. The assumptions are the basis for the work of technologists who develop the recipes. Its composition is affected by the know-how, raw material base and cost guidelines.
At the examination stages, a designed mixture of the raw materials is laboratory and application tested. Not only the formal and legal compliance of individual raw materials and the entire recipe is checked up, but also many parameters not included in the legal requirements, which affect the quality of a product. The Group uses numerous the proprietary examination methods to carry out these tests. An important element of the design works is the application evaluation of a designed product. Obtaining positive results enables the implementation process to continue.
The next stage is the preparation and launch of a manufacturing process. It is crucial that it runs smoothly, with high quality standards and satisfactory efficiency. The process solutions introduced, including automation, support the maintenance of production efficiency and reduce the negative impact on an employee or the environment.
Compliance of products with legal requirements is of key importance to us. Especially with regard to their impact on health and in terms of safety for users, as well as their impact on the environment. Our products comply with the basic national and EU regulations in this area. Each product has got a Safety Data Sheet and Technical Data Sheet. We make sure that our products meet the requirements of external certification, such as Ecolabel or marking of the emission class from a coating of the Volatile Organic Compounds.
In addition to complying with the obligatory certification requirements, we take steps to obtain additional voluntary certificates confirming the highest quality of the products offered and compliance with restrictive norms and standards.
The Ecolabel is a European distinction that is awarded to environmentally friendly products that meet high quality and health standards.
The basis for awarding the EU Ecolabel is Regulation (EC) No 66/2010 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 November 2009 on the Ecolabel for specific product groups. |

We strive to have a minimal impact on the environment during the production, which is why we focus our efforts on finding ecological solutions. Owing to the knowledge gained, we have developed a new product based on raw materials of natural origin.
We have developed an innovative paint formula that contains 30% of raw materials of natural origin, including those based on plant ingredients. The CO₂ emissions associated with the acquisition of plant ingredients are much lower than in the case of non-renewable oil-derived ingredients.
About 75% of the sales value
We attach great importance to the safety of the products we offer, at various levels:
