The grand finale of the “KOLORATORIUM” – we met the schools that won the dream laboratories!

Children's Day is a long-awaited time for all the youngest and for students from schools that took part in the “Koloratorium" program it was also a day abundant in emotions. This was all due to the announcement of the results of the 3rd nationwide edition of the program. After several months of struggle, we got to know the 10 winning institutions that will inaugurate their mini laboratories in September, i.e. professionally equipped biological and chemical laboratories.

The road to this victory was not easy and required many months of mobilization of the entire school community. In this year’s edition, as many as 158 public and private educational institutions from all over the country competed for the prize. Schools collected points in it for performing various activities, e.g. conducting lessons on the basis of outlines from the “Koloratorium”, or organizing events as part of a school or home health laboratory. Participation of students from a given institution in an individual competition also contributed to getting points. The theme of this year’s edition of the program was the secrets of an extraordinary laboratory, which is the human body.

The 30 schools with the highest number of points in the ranking qualified for the grand finale. There was a special task waiting here – recording a short film entitled: “Professor, my happiness hormone levels have dropped drastically! We have to start the rescue operation!” Among the applications submitted, creativity, artistic expression, the scale of student and teacher involvement, own soundtrack were subject to assessment.  The video projects were made at a very high level, so the competition jury had a difficult nut to crack.

On Children’s Day, June 1 we met the winners of the “Koloratorium” – the 10 best institutions that participated in the final won biological and chemical, professionally equipped mini laboratories – school “dream studios”. Depending on the sum of points earned, their value is PLN 30,000, PLN 15,000 or PLN 10,000 respectively. For all winners, additional products necessary for the renovation of rooms were also provided.

This year’s final entries presented a very even level, so the task ahead of us, the jurors, wasn’t really easy. However, it is definitely worth emphasizing that each of the winning video has “that something” that captures the heart and makes it memorable. Congratulations to both the winners and those who made it to the final 30. We also wish the latter perseverance, since, as the history of our projects shows, it is worth fighting for dreams, although they do not always come true right awaysums up Aleksandra Małozięć, Corporate Communications Director.
